Through Country Dogs, I provide qualified, accredited and ethical dog behaviour modification services and training in Hampshire and surrounding areas.
I offer :

- Educational talks (vet practices, schools and other groups)
My accreditation with highly regarded professional bodies ensures that my skills and knowledge are kept up to date with 30 hours CPD each year. My CAB accreditation is also recognised by most pet insurance companies and covered by many policies.
Using only modern, positive reward, science based methods, I aim for a happy, well-trained dog and a confident handler.

About me
Dogs are my passion! I am an accredited Clinical Animal Behaviourist, being a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) and the Professional Association of Canine Trainers (PACT). This means that I adhere to a strict code for welfare and ethics, and keep up-to-date with regular continuing professional development. I am also first aid trained.
I have always worked with dogs, from Kennel Hand to Dog Behaviour Assessor and Rehomer at Battersea, Animal Care Advisor at Purina and Senior Hydrotherapist and Rehabilitation Assistant at the internationally renowned Greyfriars Veterinary Rehabilitation Centre. Whilst there, I developed and taught the behaviour module used in their Canine Hydrotherapy training courses. This wide range of experience has given me an excellent insight into underlying health conditions which can affect behaviour. It also means I am comfortable with any breed, any size, any issue.
My combination of qualifications, accreditations and experience, mean I am highly recommended by animal professionals and enables me to work collaboratively with vets. I have clients often referred to me by vets, breeders, trainers, physios and of course satisfied owners.
